Blooming Beacon LLC is a Washington State Department of Health–licensed home health agency based in Puyallup and serving families throughout the city and the surrounding Pierce County area. We provide skilled nursing, physical, occupational and speech therapy, medical social work and home health aide support at home — most often after a hospital stay, during a chronic illness, or when a home has become harder to get around safely. Call (253) 348-6004 to talk with our team.
Puyallup is where Blooming Beacon is based, and many of the families we serve live here. From the historic homes near downtown and the fairgrounds to the newer neighborhoods around South Hill and Sunrise, we know the streets, the hospitals and the resources families rely on. When a loved one comes home from the hospital or starts to need more help, having a local, licensed agency close by makes the first steps easier.
MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is the closest major hospital for most Puyallup residents, and many of our clients start care with us right after a discharge — following surgery, a fall, a stroke, or a flare-up of heart or lung disease. The first weeks at home are when small problems, such as a missed medication or a wound that isn't healing, can turn into a return trip to the hospital. Our nurses and therapists help catch those problems early.
Puyallup's housing varies a lot. Older homes near downtown and the fairgrounds often have porch steps, narrow doorways and small bathrooms, while the hillside neighborhoods on South Hill and Sunrise can have stairs, steep driveways and multi-level layouts that are hard after surgery. Our therapists look at the home you actually live in and recommend practical changes — grab bars, rearranged furniture, a safer route to the bedroom and bathroom — then practice exercises in that space.
We serve Puyallup neighborhoods including downtown, the fairgrounds area, South Hill, Sunrise, Maplewood, Shaw Heights, Glacial and the surrounding communities. If you are not sure whether your address is in our area, call (253) 348-6004 and we will check.
